District Achievement
Students prepare one memorized piece to play for an adjudicator and are given a critique and rating based on their performance.
Students earning I+, I, or I- at District Achievement Auditions will advance to State Achievement Auditions and perform the same memorized piece.
State Achievement - NEW AWARDS for 2016
Students earning I+ receive a trophy.
Students earning I receive a silver medal.
Students earning I - receive a bronze medal.
Students earning II, III receive a ribbon.

Students in grades 3 – 12 may enter Merit division.

Merit students who receive I or I+ at District Achievement Auditions will advance to State Achievement and play a different memorized piece at State Achievement
Merit students who receive I- will advance to State, but do not qualify for Merit.
They will play the District Achievement piece again at State.
State Achievement
Merit students receive an additional trophy
District Achievement
